Completed LOEWE. retail interior at Harrods in London

The project

A retail environment designed from first principles.

N9UVE developed a new retail environment for LOEWE. at Harrods, bringing together the functionality of a product showroom and the atmosphere of a contemporary domestic interior. The concept was created from the ground up — from spatial planning and visual direction to bespoke furniture, working drawings and supervision throughout implementation.

The aim was to present the brand's technology within an expressive yet comfortable setting, where televisions and audio systems are experienced as a natural part of a considered interior rather than as isolated display objects.

Retail as an interior experience

A domestic lens
on technology.

Instead of a conventional linear display, the space unfolds as a sequence of interior scenes. Upholstered seating, occasional tables, warm timber and planting create the atmosphere of a living room, allowing visitors to understand the products in a recognisable residential context.

Display architecture

Open sightlines.
Distinct zones.

The primary display wall combines screens of different formats, audio systems and integrated equipment within one architectural composition. Warm timber softens the technological character of the products, while pale neutral surfaces provide a controlled backdrop for image and sound.

Freestanding elements present products from several directions and guide movement through the space. Curved slatted screens define individual settings without interrupting the open perspective of the wider Harrods interior.

Concept design

The spatial idea

Visualisations and working drawings established the proportions, material relationships and technical coordination before production. N9UVE's design supervision maintained that design intent throughout implementation.

Bespoke furniture

Designed around
the technology.

The project includes a coordinated family of wall panels, display stands, plinths, central islands and furniture for audio equipment, accessories and service functions. Each element was developed around the dimensions and technical requirements of each product.

Cable routes, ventilation, integrated lighting, concealed fixings and maintenance access were resolved within the working drawings, allowing the technical infrastructure to remain visually discreet.
